AdEspresso creates and split-tests Facebook and Instagram campaigns. The last entry on its public changelog is dated April 2021. Kitchn.io is the launch workflow for teams that push hundreds of ads a week. Build them in a sheet, let validation run, launch to eight channels. Google Search campaigns and split-test reports do not carry over.
AdEspresso creates Facebook and Instagram campaigns and builds the ad variations from the creatives and audiences you enter, then reports on the split test. Optimization Rules pause the ads that cost the most and move budget on triggers like CPA, CPM, conversions or ROI. A drag-and-drop PDF report carries your logo, and tags roll campaigns up per client. Campaign approvals go to anyone by email or link; onboarding requests collect access to a client's Pages and ad accounts. Plans start at $49 a month with a 14-day trial. For a few Meta campaigns with a test matrix and a PDF for the client, it does the job.
Past Meta, the record thins out. The current Create page lists Facebook and Instagram. Google Ads Search campaigns appear on an older tour page, and help articles still document publishing to Google Ads. Approvals are not supported for those campaigns. Bulk creation tops out at 250 ads per campaign, for two campaign types. There is no documented pre-launch QA, no documented naming-convention enforcement, no documented launching to TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Spotify, AppLovin or X (Twitter). The public record carries these dates. Last changelog entry: April 23, 2021. Last product-update entry: December 19, 2019. Latest blog post: January 2, 2023. The help center is live, with articles stamped October 21, 2025. We checked each of these on 21 August 2026.
Kitchn.io is the launch layer for paid social teams. Every ad is built in a sheet and validated before it launches, to any of eight channels. Split-test reports, Optimization Rules and Google Search campaigns are not part of it.
| Feature | Kitchn.io | AdEspresso |
|---|---|---|
| Bulk ad creation & launch | YesAd sets and ads in bulk, from rows | PartialSpreadsheet upload, 250 ads per campaign |
AdEspresso's aggregated campaign, also called Grid Composer, takes an XLSX or CSV of creative and targeting values plus custom placeholders such as store name. It builds the ads and split tests from that file. Its help center caps it at 50 ads per ad set and 250 ads per campaign, for the External Website and Local Awareness campaign types. Multi-page bulk creation is on the Plus plan. Kitchn.io's Launch Sheet creates ad sets from a template ad set and the ads in bulk, in rows, pastes copy from Google Sheets and bulk-edits hundreds of ads at once. | ||
| Multi-channel launching | Yes8 channels, 3 in beta | PartialFacebook & Instagram; Google Search in older docs |
AdEspresso's current Create page lists Facebook and Instagram campaign creation. Google Ads Search campaigns are described on an older tour page, and help articles updated October 2025 still document a Publish to Google Ads step. Against AdEspresso's Facebook and Instagram, Kitchn.io adds TikTok, Google Demand Gen, Pinterest and Snapchat today, and LinkedIn, Spotify and AppLovin in beta. | ||
| Pre-launch QA checks | YesRequired fields, URL format, specs, enhancements | NoNo documented QA step |
AdEspresso's Manage page fixes a mistake after publish, with a Bulk update across every ad that shares it. Kitchn validates each row before launch. Required fields, URL format, platform specs, and the creative enhancements Ads Manager switches on by default, forced off. A row that fails lands in error and never launches. | ||
| Client & team approvals | YesStatuses, comments, previews | YesEmail or link, one approver |
AdEspresso sends a campaign summary with budget, targeting and creative previews to anyone by email or link. One person approves, the campaign locks once sent, previews expire after 24 hours, and Google Ads campaigns are not supported. Kitchn.io puts approval statuses and comments on every row, and the client reviews the real ad preview through a share link, no login needed. | ||
| Split-test setup & reporting | PartialVariants in rows, no test report | YesBuilds every variation, reports on it |
AdEspresso builds the ad variations from the creatives and audiences you enter and reports on the split test. Inspector breakdown and split-testing analysis are on every plan. Kitchn.io builds variants as rows and multiple text options per ad. Creative Reporting groups the results by ad, ad name or a custom dimension; there is no split-test report. | ||
| Automatic optimization rules | PartialRules: pause, rename, notify Slack | YesOptimization Rules on CPA, CPM, ROI |
AdEspresso's rules engine pauses the ads costing the most and redistributes budget to the top performers. Triggers run from CPA and CPM to conversions and ROI. Kitchn's Rule Engine runs rules on Meta and TikTok that pause, rename or notify Slack on a schedule, with budget changes and duplication on request. Redistributing budget between ads on a rule is AdEspresso's feature. | ||
| Naming conventions | YesApplied by template | NoNo documented enforcement |
| Templates & sheet defaults | YesSet once per sheet | PartialSaved creatives, audiences, ad templates |
| Audit trail of changes | YesEvery change and approval | YesTimeline tab per campaign |
AdEspresso's Timeline tab logs edits by account users with name and time, changes made by Optimization Rules, and annotations, per campaign. Kitchn.io's Audit & Change Log records every change and every approval, with before and after, per row. | ||
| Client reporting | YesCreative Reporting, share links | YesDrag-and-drop PDF, white label |
AdEspresso builds white-label PDF reports with your logo and rolls campaigns up by tag. Kitchn's Creative Reporting covers Meta, TikTok, Google Ads and Pinterest, with report views, custom dimensions from your naming, calculated metrics, an ad screenshot library and share links for clients. No white-label branding, PDF export or scheduled emails. | ||
| Public pricing | YesPlans listed, from €499/mo | YesFrom $49/mo, 14-day trial |
AdEspresso lists Starter at $49, Plus at $99 and Enterprise from $259 a month, each with a 14-day trial (checked 21 August 2026). Kitchn.io's plans start at €499/month and are priced by ad accounts and upload volume. | ||
Kitchn.io launches to eight channels from the same Launch Sheet, three of them in beta. Your naming template and validation travel with every row.

AdEspresso's pricing page lists three plans. Starter at $49 a month with a $1,000 monthly spend limit and unlimited ad accounts. Plus at $99 with unlimited spend, multi-page bulk creation, campaign approval and up to 15 seats. Enterprise from $259 with mandatory approvals, API access and unlimited seats. Each with a 14-day free trial. Checked 21 August 2026.
Kitchn.io's plans are listed on the pricing page from €499/month and are priced by ad accounts and upload volume, not by ad spend. Launch Team covers 5 ad accounts and 900 Ad Uploads a month; Launch Elite covers 15 ad accounts. A client doubling its spend changes nothing on the invoice.
Kitchn.io costs more per month than AdEspresso's Starter or Plus plan, and is priced for teams launching at volume across several accounts.

Campaigns AdEspresso published live in Ads Manager and keep running; AdEspresso's own FAQ says so. Connect those Meta ad accounts, and the TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat or Google accounts you add.
Saved creatives, audiences and ad templates stay in AdEspresso. In Kitchn.io, set the sheet defaults once, save ad templates, set up the naming template. New rows inherit the sheet defaults; ad templates are applied in bulk.
The spreadsheet you built for AdEspresso's Grid Composer is a head start: paste its copy and link columns into the Launch Sheet, attach assets from Drive, Dropbox, Frame.io or OneDrive, let validation run, send the preview link, launch.
Kitchn.io does not replace AdEspresso's split-test reporting, Optimization Rules or PDF reports. Use Ads Manager experiments and your reporting tool for that, or keep AdEspresso running on the same ad accounts alongside Kitchn.io.
Kitchn.io launches Google Ads Demand Gen video ads only. Search campaigns created in AdEspresso keep running in Google Ads, and you manage them there.
As of 21 August 2026, AdEspresso's site, pricing page, signup form and help center are live. The help center at support.adespresso.com is branded AdEspresso by Hootsuite, and its articles carry an updated October 21, 2025 stamp. The public changelog's last entry is dated April 23, 2021, the last product-update entry December 19, 2019, and the latest blog post January 2, 2023. Hootsuite's advertising page and its Manage your ad campaigns help article (updated July 20, 2026) do not mention AdEspresso. The Hootsuite status page lists no AdEspresso component. We found no published statement from AdEspresso or Hootsuite on the product's future.
For the launch part, yes. AdEspresso creates Facebook and Instagram campaigns and split-tests them. Kitchn.io builds hundreds of ads in a sheet, validates them, puts approval statuses on every row and launches to eight channels. Kitchn.io has no split-test reports and no Optimization Rules, so teams that lean on those keep a tool for it.
Partly. Kitchn.io launches Google Ads Demand Gen video ads that serve across YouTube, Gmail and Discover, into an existing ad group. It does not create Search, Shopping or Display campaigns. AdEspresso describes Google Ads Search campaigns on an older tour page, and its help articles updated October 2025 still document publishing to Google Ads. Its current Create page lists Facebook and Instagram.
Kitchn.io builds the variants and leaves the test report to Ads Manager. A Meta row can carry up to 10 headlines, 10 descriptions and 5 primary texts, and several assets per ad. The combinations are built without duplicating rows. AdEspresso builds every variation for you and reports on the split test inside the tool.
AdEspresso lists Starter at $49, Plus at $99 and Enterprise from $259 a month, with a 14-day trial (checked 21 August 2026). Kitchn.io's plans start at €499/month and scale with ad accounts and upload volume, not with ad spend. Kitchn.io costs more per month and is built for teams launching at volume.
They keep running. AdEspresso's FAQ states that campaigns continue on Facebook and Google after a cancellation and are managed from the native platform. Its Optimization Rules and dayparting stop applying. Kitchn.io connects to the same ad accounts, so new launches sit next to the old campaigns in Ads Manager.
The Meta ad accounts are the same ones, so there is no export from AdEspresso and no import into Kitchn.io. The time goes into your own setup. Set up the naming template AdEspresso never asked you for, recreate your defaults per sheet, and the first Launch Sheet can go out that day.
